A man and his wife have died at a railway station after ‘jumping in front of a train while hugging each other'.

According to Metro UK, horrified witnesses said the two leapt off the platform at Doncaster Railway Station in front of an oncoming train shortly after 8:00pm on Tuesday. It is believed they bought tickets to get past the barriers at the station. British Transport Police confirmed the deaths and said officers were working to identify the victims.

According to the Doncaster Free Press, witnesses said the pair embraced and jumped from the platform at the same time.  A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 8:20pm, officers were called to Doncaster station following reports that two people had been struck by a train. Officers and paramedics were quickly on scene, however a man and woman were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Work is being done to identify the man and woman and to inform their next of kin. An investigation into how the man and woman came to be on the tracks is underway, however at this time the circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.”  

Virgin Trains also confirmed the incident and said trains were cancelled as a result.  Writing on the firm’s official Twitter account, a spokesperson said: “My heart is broken for all involved in this tragic incident. NEMA confirms death of 3 bombers in fresh Maiduguri suicide attacks

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed the death of three suicide bombers at Muna area of Maiduguri in an attempt to infiltrate the town in Friday.

Four powerful explosions occurred between 9: 00 and 9: 30 pm, sending terrifying echoes to many parts of the town. NEMA’s Northeast Zonal Coordinator, Bashir Garga, who confirmed the incident, said that the blast occurred outside the town.

Garga disclosed that the suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) strapped to their bodies behind the security trench at Muna Garage area in the outskirts of Maiduguri. He said that terrifying echoes by the explosions caused some residents of the area to flee which made them to sustain injuries.  Garga added that the wounded were referred to hospital for treatment in Maiduguri.

“Details on the incident is still sketchy. It occurred behind the trenches and only the suicide bombers were killed,” he said, adding that normalcy has been restored to the area. Muna garage is prone to suicide bomb attacks and the military had imposed a dusk to dawn curfew to secure the area

A mother-of-two was overwhelmed with taking care of an infant and a toddler with very little help from her husband and an incident caused her to reach a breaking point so she let it all out by writing a now viral open letter.

Celeste Erlach, from Utah, USA, wrote her husband a letter, hoping he would finally realise that parenthood is a two-people job. The letter has gone viral after it was shared on Facebook group Breastfeeding Mama Talk.

The letter was about trying to raise two young children, with a partner who, more often than not, doesn’t help, or knows how to. Celeste told Metro.co.uk about the final straw which made her write the letter, and how her husband reacted to it all.

She said: "I think the first time a mum asks for help is a significant milestone. For me, this was the first time I even asked because before then, I was determined to do it all and be the super mum I was perceived to be. Asking for help felt like admitting defeat and it wasn’t until I was at wit’s end, that I could even express I’d reached my breaking point.
"When I asked my husband for help, he was eager to assist! He didn’t know how much pressure I had put on myself because I tried to make it look easy. Nothing about parenting is easy. Looking back, I kick myself for not asking for help sooner.
"Since the letter, my husband notices the little things I do more and more. He sees what goes into being a mum and he expresses more gratitude. I hope that this letter helps other mums express their thoughts and struggles. And I hope dads read it and have a better understanding of all the things mums do behind the scenes, both big and small."

Yet the individual that has captured the situation with more clarity, strength and conviction than perhaps any other in the last few days is my friend and brother Mr. Tony Ipriye Uranta.

Tony has been one of the most courageous, consistent and celebrated voices in the struggle for emancipation from military rule, freedom from northern hegemony and the establishment of democracy in Nigeria for the last 30 years and his words are worthy of consideration. On March 18th he wrote,

"I am unapologetically against ALL bloodthirsty demons, be they Boko Haram or Fulani Herdsmen terrorists. NOT ALL Muslims or Fulanis are evil. Many of my very good friends are either Muslims or Fulani...or, both! But if a devil is either, please, do not let us seek euphemisms to describe him or her. Nobody, for example, sought our permission to label virtually all criminal actors of the South South as Niger Delta Militants....even as far away as in Arepo, Lagos State. Meanwhile let us not forget that Niger Delta armed agitators, whilst one is not holding brief for them, have NEVER gone about any mass killings. I respect all ethnic groups, but I will NOT call a dog a monkey just to assuage anybody's feelings of guilt by association! Why is the Nigerian military not arresting traditional rulers indiscriminately as they do in the Niger Delta each time there's unrest (sans massacres, take note!) in the South South?! Are there really two Nigeria's?! We ALL in Nigeria have long agreed that the killer herdsmen in question are Fulani. Miyetti Allah and some FGN Officials have only quibbled as to their origination...some claiming they are foreign mercenaries of sorts. Even if these are Lunar Fulani, the reality is that they are carrying out genocidal actions and crimes against humanity, as they horrendously slaughter thousands of non-Fulani Nigerians across the nation, but especially in the Middle Belt. It is clear that the FGN cannot contain these killers. The United Nations (UN), the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), the European Union (EU), the African Union (AU), the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and all others with interests in Nigeria MUST intervene firmly and immediately. And the International Court of Justice (ICC) in the Hague should begin listing both State and non-State actors alleged to have been directly or otherwise involved in the mass murders, mass rapes, widespread arson, massive population displacements plus other terrorist acts that have eliminated tens of thousands of Nigerians within the past few years! May Nigeria not fail as a result of ethnic violence....for the whole will physically feel the negative fallouts from the creation of millions of Nigerian refugees desperately over-running first West and North Africa, then Europe and Northern America!"

Tony Ipiriye Uranta is a pride to the Niger Delta, to the south and indeed to Nigeria and he has hit the nail on the head.

To those that think otherwise and that are still living in denial I say it is time to stop playing politics with this matter and to speak the bitter truth.

I say to hell with your shameless political correctness and I urge you to accept the fact that when genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder is taking place it is unacceptable to sell the truth for tiny crumbs and a morsel at the Fulani table or to indulge in childish and petty semantics.

In such situations it is simply inexcusable to employ falsehood and deceit as a weapon of war or to attempt to belittle the challenges with which we are faced.

That challenge is called the 'Fulani herdsmen' and 'Fulani terrorists' and, whether you like it or not, that is precisely what we MUST and we WILL call them.

A few days ago after yet another horrific attack by the Fulani herdsmen on the local Berom comnunity in Jos, Plateau state the identity card of one Zakaria Yau Idris, an officer and member of Miyetti Allah, was found at the blood-soaked scene of the crime and presented to the public by the Nigerian Police.

Do we need to provide any more evidence to prove the fact that these butchers and terrorists are Fulani and nothing else? Even the useful idiots and accursed slaves that live amongst us like Reno Omokri and Tony Momoh would find this hard to dispute.

Yet the truth is that the killer herdsmen are just pawns that are being used by a much more deadly force in a much bigger game with a much wider picture.

They are nothing more than low-ranking footsoldiers that are being funded, fuelled, protected and empowered by a much darker, bigger, more malevolent and more sinister force which owns and controls them.

That force is a tiny group of evil men who David Icke, the British author and international conspiracy theorist, describes as the "hidden hand" that are "controlled by Satan and that lurk in the grey areas".

They are the shape-shifting reptilians and the faceless individuals that live in the shadows and that are at the very pinnacle and highest level of the Fulani ruling class.

They are the ones who own the cows, who arm, employ and protect the herdsmen and who use them to create havoc and clear the way for the implementation of their evil agenda to occupy, subjugate, dominate and conquer every inch of the Nigerian state and enslave the Nigerian people.

This is an ancient agenda and there is nothing new about it.  The proud and strong-willed Igbo people of south-eastern Nigeria saw it for what it was years before anyone else and gallantly attempted to resist it, at great cost to themselves.

From 1967 till 1970, under the leadership of Colonel Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, they courageously resisted an attempt to wipe their race off the face of the earth and, till today, they are still paying the price for their defiance, their insistence on freedom and independence and their refusal to bow to those that believe that they were 'born to rule'.

And if anyone still doubts or is confused about precisely what the agenda and objective of our collective oppressors are they should consider the words of the most reverred and most powerful northern leader in Nigerian history and the man that I often describe as Nigeria's second Muslim Mahdi: Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Saurdana of Sokoto and the Premier of the old Northern Region of Nigeria.

On October 12th, 1960 he said the following to Parrot Magazine.

"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future".

This coming from the same man that had earlier proclaimed that it was his intention to "dip the Koran in the Atlantic ocean" and thereby finish what his great grandfather, Usman Dan Fodio (the first Muslim Mahdi), started and conquer the south.

He failed but the torch and baton have now been passed on to President Muhammadu Buhari who sees himself as the third and last Muslim Mahdi and whose purpose and intention is to perfect that plan and to complete that agenda.

It is therefore clear that our struggle is not just against Buhari but against what he represents: the malevolent intentions, hideous hegemony and relentless impunity of the Fulani ruling class and the barbarity of their murderous footsoldiers known as the Fulani herdsmen.

Sadly they have gone much further than most people think and the challenge is far more pervasive and widespread than many appreciate.

Worst still an innovative, subtle, subterranean, secret and covert strategy has been employed which has resulted in the implementation of a hideous and aggressive form of cultural and religious imperialism which needs to be properly understood and seen to be believed.

Permit me to share an example of that here. It appears that we have an unfolding identity crisis in some parts of Yorubaland. I say this because there is a senior traditional ruler in Iwo, a predominantly Muslim town in Osun state, whose name is Oba Adewale Abdul-Rasheed and whose official title is the Olowu of Iwo.

After Sa'adu Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto (who is the leader of the Caliphate, the head of Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and the President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs) paid him a visit in 2016, he suddenly changed his manner and ways.

By 2018 he insisted on calling himself an Emir and started speaking, dressing, dancing, talking, praying and behaving like one.

The 12th March 2018 edition of the Daily Trust Newspaper reported as follows:

"The traditional ruler said Iwo was the home of Islamic scholars and that he could be regarded as an Emir.

“When I was made the Oluwo of Iwo, I was turbaned. It is because Iwo is an Islamic ancient town. IIwo was known as ‘Geri Malami', meaning, the home of scholars. So this regalia is appropriate for me as the Oluwo.”

Nothing could be more repugnant, repulsive, frightful and offensive than this. It represents a total betrayal of the Yoruba race and his Iwo people, a desecration of the ancient stool on which he sits and a mockery of the traditional institution and royal throne over which he presides.

Amongst other things he appears to have forgotten that Islam came to Yorubaland 400 years before Usman Dan Fodio and his Fulani people ever set foot in northern Nigeria and unleashed their brutal jihad in 1804.

No Yoruba Oba, whether Muslim or Christian, needs any lessons in Islam or tutorials in rulership from any Fulani Emir.

And neither does he have to convert his community into an appendage and satellite of the Caliphate in order to establish his legitimacy and bona fides as a good Muslim and a good leader or in order to excel and prosper.

Oba Abdul-Rasheed's behaviour is yet another manifestation of the accursed spirit of slavery and a good example of the activities of a useful idiot. It is sad, unacceptable, irresponsible and unfortunate.

The Yoruba were never conquered militarily by the Fulani but look at what the sons and daughters of Futa Jalon are doing to us now!

The truth is that our struggle is not one that is between mere political parties but rather it is an odyssey for truth, fairness, equal rights and justice and a noble quest for liberation and freedom from a tiny group of misguided and cruel foreign overlords who believe that they own our nation and our people.

The Bible says "the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel". This is true.  And the long term objectives and hidden intentions of our collective enemies are indeed manifestly cruel and utterly wicked.

As Meg Barnes wrote,

"they want to kill all our men and enslave our women and girls sexually so that in the end there will be no true breed of our race".

That has been their plan since Usman Dan Fodio's jihad in 1804. And it is not as far-fetched as many may think.

Many precedents abound: the English attempted to do the same thing to the Scots in the 13th and 14th century until great men like William Wallace and Robert the Bruce rose up, opposed them and defeated them in battle. It is in the same way that the Fulani shall fail because we shall resist them with every fibre of our being and every sinew of our muscle. They would do well not to test our will, tempt our power or stir our fury.

No matter what price we have to pay, how long it takes or what casualties we may be forced to suffer, in the end, we shall prevail because the God of all flesh, the Lord of Hosts and the Ancient of Days is with us and He will never forsake us.

The truth is that not only must we confront and cage the Fulani hegemonists, face them down and bring their killer herdsmen to justice but we must also identify and expose the traitors within our ranks that lick their posteriors and suck their rectums for favour and money and that encourage and applaud them as they subject our people to mass murder, ethnic cleansing and genocide. Edo man abandons his wife of 12 years after she delivered triplets

A 44-year-old motorbike operator abandoned his wife,  Ugoma Edobor after she gave birth to triplets in Uromi in Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

Narrating her plight to newsmen in Benin-City, Mrs. Edobor, said she had been married to Paul Edobor, for 12 years and after he learnt that she was delivered of triplets, all girls, he refused to show up at home let alone pick her calls.

“My husband ran away because he cannot take care of the babies. My husband was aware that I was going to the hospital for antenatal but I put to bed at home. He left me when I was in my labour. After I have put to bed, I put a call to him but he refused to pick my calls”, she said.
She said since her husband absconded, she and her babies had been living at the mercies of good spirited Nigerians.

“All this time while he was away, people have been the ones helping me to the extent of buying me baby things. I have been going to the market places and churches with the babies to beg for alms. Wherever I go, people thanked God for giving me these babies”, she said.

Mrs. Edobor called on the state government and other well meaning Nigerians to come to her aid to enable her take care of her babies.

“I want the government and good spirited individuals to come to my assistance to enable me take care of my babies”, she said.

She further pleaded for her husband to come back home, adding that she has forgiven him.

“I want my husband to come back to me. I have forgiven him. We have married in the traditional way therefore, there is no going back.

“We both met in Lagos and we decided to relocate to Uromi. We have been married for 12 years now and we have five children altogether now,” she said.

23 Ugandan radio stations shut down for ‘promoting witchcraft’

No fewer than  23 radio stations have been shut down by Ugandan authorities for “promoting witchcraft’’ and trying to con people out of money.

The stations’ licenses were suspended after they had guests on air who claimed they could heal diseases like HIV, Pamela Ankunda, the Uganda Communications Commission spokesperson revealed.

“The radios have been promoting witchcraft. People claimed on these radios to cure diseases like AIDS and cancer . These people have been fraudulently getting money from the public. Their operations and licenses have been suspended until they are able to assure the commission through writing that they will abide by the minimum broadcasting standards,’’ Ankunda said.

She said that Uganda has 292 radio stations, mostly privately-owned and its common for various religious leaders, self-proclaimed prophets and traditional healers in Africa to claim being able to cure HIV and other incurable diseases through their platforms.

Boko Haram: Buhari’s government should explain its relationship with insurgents – BBOG

The BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, has given reasons why the move to grant amnesty to repentant Boko Haram insurgents would be detrimental.

The group also said the President Muhammad Buhari-led administration has to explain to Nigerians their relationship with the insurgents.

Missing girl found stoned to death in South Africa (Photos)

The lifeless body of a 17-year-old-girl from Ga Riba, Limpopo, South Africa was found on Thursday morning, March 22, near a mountain at the village.

Pretty ‘Snini’ Mashoeu, a learner at Letau Secondary School, was reported missing last Friday, March 16.

Limpopo police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, who confirmed the incident, pleaded with residents to help with information that can lead to the arrest of her killers.

“We plead with residents to contact the Tubatse police to help in apprehending the suspects.” he said.

First ever Miss Albino beauty pageant held in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe held it's first ever Miss Albinism contest aimed at reducing stigma and increasing awareness about the condition and 13 contestants showed up for the contest.
22-year-old Sithembiso Mutukura beat 12 other contestants to emerge winner in the contest which held in a Harare nightclub last Friday, March 16.

This makes Zimbabwe the second country to host such pageant after Kenya hosted its own and crowned a Mr and Miss Albinism.

Gunman in supermarket in France, kills at least 3 before he's shot dead by police

At least three people were killed and two injured today after a terrorist took hostages in a supermarket near Carcassonne in southern France. The gunman who claimed allegiance to the Islamic State group was eventually killed by police, ending the hostage situation.

He is believed to be a Moroccan who was on a watchlist of suspected Islamic extremists after he carried out three separate attacks in the medieval town of Carcassonne and nearby Trebes.

The attacker had began his rampage by hijacking a car in Carcassonne on Friday morning, in which he killed a passenger and injured the driver. He then shot at a group of policeman, injuring one officer before driving to the supermarket, where he opened fire leaving two dead.

He had pledged allegiance to terror group Isis, whose propaganda agency then claimed the attack saying gunman was a "soldier of Islamic State".

A witness reported that the assailant was armed with knives, a gun and grenades and shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is greatest) before going into the supermarket.
"A man shouted and started firing several times," one shopper at the supermarket told FranceInfo radio station.
She added: "I saw an open door for a refrigerated area and I told people to come to shelter there. We were 10 people and we got out by the emergency exit at the back."
French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said the incident seemed to be an "act of terrorism".
"All the information we have at the moment leads us to believe that this was an act of terrorism," he told reporters.
First, the 26-year-old attacker held up a car just before 10 o'clock this morning in the nearby village of Carcassonne, killing one person and leaving another wounded, according to local media reports. Then, he fired at police officers who were on their way back from jogging , according to Yves Lefebvre, secretary general of SGP Police-FO police union. One soldier was slightly injured after being shot in the shoulder, Lefebvre said.
Then the gunman drove that car to a Super U supermarket in the nearby small town of Trebes, about 100km southeast of Toulouse, where he entered the supermarket. He shot two people dead after he entered the supermarket.
The attacker was able to take a police officer hostage after all other people were able to escape the shop. The police officer swapped himself with a civilian, and was subsequently severly injured in the assault, Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said in a statement.
The man claimed that he carried out the attack in the name of ISIL. According to several sources, the hostage taker demanded the release of Salah Abdeslam, the only surviving member of the November 2015 attacks in Paris, in which 130 civilians and seven attackers were killed.

''A youth corp member defiled an eleven (11) year old JSS 2 student. Simple instruction to carry out home lessons have ended the little girl with pregnancy.
The Nana College Warri student now goes through the pain of abuse and molestation. While he will be charge to court and a notification has been sent to NYSC national secretariat, we insist that parents must be careful with those they leave with their children. Trust no man.

Suspected armed cultists set police station ablaze in Bayelsa

Suspected armed cultists stormed the Divisional headquarter of the Nigeria Police Force in Oporoma, the headquarters of the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state and set it ablaze.
This attack was carried out after some cultist unsuccessfully tried to break one of their members loose from the prison.

It is reported that a suspect in custody at the police station made plans to escape but was shot by the officer on duty. His colleagues then re-mobilized and attacked the station before setting it on fire.

According to Sun News, Spokesman of the state police command, Asinim Butswat, said a preliminary report of the incident has been received by the command headquarters.

“Report  indicates that a suspected cultist who was on police wanted list for various heinous crimes such as kidnapping, sea robbery, armed robbery and pipeline vandalism, was arrested and detained at the Oporoma Police Division, Southern Ijaw council, preparatory to his being transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Intelligence Department (SCIID), Yenagoa.
“The suspect, on March 21, 2018, attempted to escape from lawful custody and was shot by the police officer on duty. Other members of the suspect’s cult group mobilised and attacked officers on duty at the police division, and set it ablaze. Additional policemen were deployed to restore normalcy in the community.
“There seems to be emergence of cult cases in Bayelsa state, we call on the public to volunteer useful information and assist the police in curbing  trend of cultism among our youths,” he said.

Man sentenced to life in prison for the kidnap and murder

A California man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the kidnap and murder of a 3-week-old baby girl back in 2015.
Anthony Ray McCall, 32, was sentenced on Monday after being convicted of abducting the child right from her mother's arms on January 3, 2015, and killing her. Anthony abducted the baby from her home in Long Beach as a part of a woman's bizarre plot to trick her boyfriend into believing she had given birth.

The woman who hatched the plot is Giseleangelique Rene D’Milian. She wanted her married boyfriend to believe she had given birth to twins while he was out of the country, according to investigators. So she tracked the mother of 3-week-old Eliza De La Cruz to their northern Long Beach residence and enlisted Anthony to storm the home and get the child for her.
When Anthony got to the home to kidnap the child for D'Milan, he shot and wounded the baby’s parents and uncle while fleeing with the baby, prosecutors said. Baby De La Cruz was found in a dumpster at an Imperial Beach strip mall the following day, although investigators believe she was killed the same day she was abducted. It is still unclear why she wound up dead.

Anthony was found guilty on March 2 on seven felony counts: 1 first-degree murder, kidnapping, attempted kidnapping and four counts of attempted murder. He was sentenced to nearly 142 years to life in state prison.
The Oceanside resident was also found guilty of beating a 23-year-old woman with a baseball bat as he attempted to kidnap her 4-month-old son from an El Segundo hotel room about a month after De La Cruz’s death. The baby was unharmed, and hotel employees were able to thwart the abduction when they knocked on the room’s door, causing Anthony to flee.
