Angry husband pours hot semovita on wife in Ekiti State

 a 35-year-old man, Bawa Joshua, showed up in an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates' Court, for supposedly pouring hot semovita on his significant other, Grace. The respondent had argued not liable to a tally charge of strike. 

The prosecutor, Insp. Johnson Okunade, told the court that the litigant conferred the offense on May 7, at around 8:00 p.m., at Ayoomodara St., Ado-Ekiti. He said the litigant squabbled with the complainant, and in the process poured hot semovita on her, which caused her mischief. 

He said that the offense negated Section 415 of the Criminal Code, Law of Ekiti State, 2012. The prosecutor connected for dismissal to empower him to think about the case record and present his witnesses. The litigant's insight, Kayode Oyeyemi, asked the court to concede safeguard to his customer, and guaranteed that he would not hop safeguard. 

The Chief Magistrate, Adesoji Adegboye, conceded safeguard to the respondent in the aggregate of N50,000 with one surety in like whole and dismissed the case until June 15 for hearing.
