Three persons have been arrested by the Bayelsa State Police Command for attacking a Corpers’ Lodge in Sagbama area of the state, during which they allegedly severed a corps member’s hand.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Command, Asinim Butswat, however, said a fourth suspect was yet to be arrested.

According to reports, the suspects on Sunday, allegedly attacked a Corpers’ Lodge at Angalabiri community of Sagbama, severing the hand of a corps member identified as Luntis Julius, from Taraba State, with a machete.

Also stolen from the Corpers’ Lodge during the attack at about 2.30am, were a laptop and two mobile phones belonging to the victim. Butswat gave the names of the arrested suspects as Mosan Youdougha, 22; Godswill Vincent, 21; saying that the third suspect was yet to be handed over to the Police.

25-year-old Nigerian woman nabbed with drugs in India

Narcotics Control Bureau Ahmedabad, India on Monday, arrested a 25-year-old Nigerian woman for possession of drugs.

The lady named Ehimen Ruth was travelling in train Number 12450 (NDLS -Madgoan) Goa Sampark Kranti. When the train arrived Vadodara railway station, a team from NCB, acting on tip-off intercepeted the accused.

                                                                                                                                                              Two boxs of DOMINO's biscuit was found which contains packets wrapped with brown scotch tap in each packet  box. These packets contained white crystal form substances in each of packets.

The substances tested positive for Amphetamine, weighing 404 gram.

Twitter has issued a statement today saying that "Black Panther" is the the most-tweeted about movie of all time. The film, which stars Chadwick Boseman and is directed by Ryan Coogler, has amassed more than 35 million tweets.

According to the statement, "Black Panther" Twitter chatter was loud enough to topple two other box office hits that held the title from a galaxy far, far away: "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."

In January, Kendrick Lamar fired off what is now the most-retweeted "Black Panther" tweet ever when he posted to Twitter the track list to the film's soundtrack, which was curated and produced by the Grammy-winning rapper.
